Canadian Companies Join Forces to Launch Sovereign Solution for Critical Data

Newsdesk, May 25, 2026

Canadian companies are collaborating on a next-generation “secrets management platform” designed to help enterprises and government organizations secure sensitive data with unprecedented simplicity, control, and future-ready protection.

Ottawa-based Crypto4A Technologies alongside Quebec City’s Micrologic this week unveiled the general availability of QxVault, which is described by the data innovators as the country’s first fully sovereign, post-quantum-ready Secrets Management-as-a-Service offering.

As organizations move away from fragmented security stacks and complex legacy tools, QxVault introduces a fundamentally new approach, according to John O’Connor, Chief Product Officer of Crypto4A.

“DevOps and security teams are overwhelmed by complexity and an ever-evolving threat landscape,” says O’Connor.

Powered by Crypto4A’s quantum-safe architecture and anchored by a FIPS 140-3 Level 3i Cryptographic Module, QxVault delivers enterprise-grade protection without the operational burden of traditional solutions, according to O’Connor.

“QxVault simplifies secrets management by integrating everything into a single, trusted platform, making it easier to deploy, easier to manage, and secure by design,” he said.

Crypto4A is working alongside Canadian partners such as Micrologic, developer behind the only Canadian sovereign cloud recognized by Gartner, to deliver a fully integrated, secure infrastructure stack that reduces reliance on foreign-controlled platforms and “strengthens national digital resilience.”

“Organizations are looking for trusted, Canadian solutions that align with both their security and sovereignty mandates,” commented Stéphane Garneau, CEO of Micrologic. “QxVault delivers on both fronts.”

QxVault promises transparent pricing, operational efficiency, and integrated hardware security, offering flexible deployment options including on-premises, private cloud, and sovereign hosted environments through trusted partners.

Garneau has stated that he is “thrilled that two Canadian companies are joining forces to offer a sovereign alternative that meets the strict needs of large organizations seeking a sovereign option to protect their most critical data.”

Crypto4A will be showcasing QxVault with live demonstrations at CANSEC 2026 at the EY Centre in Ottawa this week.
